Getting There

  • Car

    If traveling by car from Tirana, take the road towards Shëngjergj. The journey typically takes around one hour, passing through Farkë, Surrel, and Shkallë. Upon reaching the area, park near Restorant Ujvara Shëngjergj. From there, the trailhead to the waterfall is near a bridge adjacent to the restaurant. Parking is free in this area. Note that the last few kilometers may be bumpy.

  • Public Transport

    To reach Ujëvara e Shën Gjergjit by public transport from Tirana, catch the 15A bus to Kino Studio for 40 lek. Then, transfer to a van heading to Shëngjergj for an additional 200 lek one way. Buses leave at 7 AM, 10 AM, 2 PM, and 4 PM in both directions. From Shëngjergj, it's a short walk to the waterfall.

  • Walking

    Once you've arrived near Restorant Ujvara Shëngjergj, the hike to the waterfall is relatively easy, covering approximately 1.5 kilometers with an elevation gain of 56 meters. The hike can be completed in about 20 minutes. The path is marked with red and white signs, making navigation straightforward. Sturdy footwear is recommended, as the trail can be slippery after rain.
