    From the center of Berat, make your way towards Berat Castle. The walk is a steep climb along Rruga Mihal Komnena. The path is cobblestone and takes about 15-25 minutes. Once inside the castle walls, follow the signs to the highest point of the acropolis. The Water Cistern is located on the southwest side.

  • Taxi

    Taxis are available in Berat and can take you to the entrance of Berat Castle. From the city center, a taxi ride to the castle costs approximately 1800 ALL. Once at the castle entrance, follow the walking directions to reach the Water Cistern.
