From Himara, head south on the SH8 road. Continue for approximately 10 kilometers until you see signs for Gjipe Beach. A few kilometers before reaching the beach, you will encounter a sign indicating the turn-off to Gjipe Beach. Follow the signs to the parking area. Note that the last part of the road to the beach is unpaved and may require a 4x4 vehicle, especially in rainy conditions. Parking is typically free, but ensure to arrive early during peak season as spots can fill quickly.

Take a local bus from Himara to the nearby village of Jale. Buses run frequently throughout the day. Upon arriving in Jale, you will need to hire a taxi or find a local guide to take you the remaining 5 kilometers to Gjipe Beach. The taxi fare should range between 1,000 to 1,500 ALL (approximately $10-$15). Alternatively, you can choose to walk the scenic route, which takes about 1 hour but involves navigating unmarked paths.

For the adventurous, you can hike from Himara to Gjipe Beach. Start your hike from the center of Himara, taking the coastal trail that leads towards the beach.
