From the center of Berat's old town, follow signs towards Berat Castle (Kalaja). Once inside the castle walls, look for the path leading to St. Michael's Church, also known as Kisha e Shën Mëhillit. The walk is uphill and takes approximately 10 minutes. There is no admission fee to enter the church.
Taxi

Taxis are available in Berat and can take you to the entrance of Berat Castle. From there, follow the walking directions to St. Michael's Church. A taxi ride from the city center to the castle costs approximately 300 ALL. Be aware that you will still need to walk uphill from the castle entrance to reach the church.
