The easiest way to reach Bovilla Canyon is by car from Tirana. Head northeast on SH53 towards Zall-Herr. The asphalt road eventually turns into a gravel road; continue following signs for Lake Bovilla. The final stretch can be bumpy and narrow, so drive carefully. Parking is available near the dam and the Bovilla Restaurant; be prepared for a short walk to the canyon viewpoints. Parking is free but can be limited during peak season.
Public Transport
While there's no direct public transport to Bovilla Canyon, you can take a bus from Tirana to the village of Kamëz. From Kamëz, hire a taxi or arrange for a local driver to take you to Bovilla Canyon, approximately a 30-40 minute drive. Negotiate the fare beforehand, as prices can vary; expect to pay around 2000-3000 ALL for a round trip taxi from Kamëz.
