The walk is approximately 1 km and takes about 15-20 minutes at a moderate pace. Note that the road is steep and can be slippery when wet, so wear appropriate footwear. There is also a shortcut available, a steep zig-zagging climb, which cuts off some of the road. No entrance fee to enter the castle, but museums within the castle may have fees.
