Walking
The Saranda Embankment is easily accessible on foot from most locations in the city center. From the ferry terminal or city center, simply walk towards the sea. The promenade stretches along the shoreline and is well-signposted. Enjoy a leisurely stroll along the pedestrian-friendly path.
Public Transport
Local buses and minibuses (furgons) operate in Saranda and can drop you off near the embankment. Buses to Butrint or Ksamil, for example, stop along the main road (Rruga Skënderbeu) close to the promenade. A single fare is around 150 lek. From the bus stop, it's a short walk to the embankment.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available in Saranda. You can find taxi stands near the port or flag one down on the street. A short taxi ride from anywhere in the city center to the embankment should cost around 700-1800 ALL. Confirm the price before starting your journey.
Car
If arriving by car, be aware that parking in Saranda, especially during the summer, can be challenging. Street parking is available but limited. Several private parking lots are located near the embankment, but they can fill up quickly. Expect to pay around 300 lek for up to 3 hours of parking. Some places charge €10-€15 per day/evening.
