    From Librazhd, drive east on the SH3 road towards Qarrishtë. Continue for approximately 22 kilometers. As you approach Qarrishtë, look for signs indicating the entrance to Shebenik National Park. The main entrance is located just outside the village, and there is usually ample parking available. No tolls on this route.

    Shebenik National Park, one of Albania's newest national parks, protects a remarkable landscape of mountains, forests, and glacial lakes. Established in 2008, the park spans over 33,927 hectares and sits along the border with North Macedonia. Its dramatic terrain rises from 300 meters to over 2,200 meters at the peak of Shebenik Mountain, creating diverse habitats for a wide array of flora and fauna. The park is characterized by its pristine beauty and relative isolation. Lush forests of beech, oak, fir, and pine cover the lower slopes, giving way to alpine meadows and rocky peaks higher up. Within the park's boundaries lie over 14 glacial lakes, remnants of a colder past, adding to the scenic allure.
