After arriving near Zvërnec Monastery by bus or car, you will need to walk to the shore where the wooden bridge is located. The walk is approximately 1 km and takes you through a scenic area. Follow the signs towards the monastery and the island. The path is relatively flat and easy to navigate. Once you reach the footbridge, it's a 270-meter walk across to the island. There is no fee to walk across the bridge.

To reach Zvërnec Monastery via public transport, take a local bus from Vlora bus station heading towards Saranda. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Zvërnec Monastery stop. The fare is approximately 100 Albanian Lek (approx. 1 USD). From the bus stop, walk approximately 1 km to the shore where the wooden bridge is located. Then cross the 270-meter wooden footbridge to reach the island. Note: Bus schedules may vary, so it's advisable to check with locals for the most up-to-date information.

From Vlora, head northwest on the SH8 coastal road. Follow the signs to Zvërnec, approximately 13 km away. Look for signs directing you to Zvërnec Monastery. Park in the designated parking area near the footbridge. Parking is free. From the parking area, walk across the 270-meter wooden footbridge to reach the island and monastery.
