Walking
Tirana Castle is centrally located and easily accessible on foot from most major landmarks in the city center, including Skanderbeg Square, the National History Museum, and Et'hem Bey Mosque. From Skanderbeg Square, walk south along Murat Toptani Street. The castle walls will be visible on your left, incorporated into the pedestrian zone.
Public Transport
Tirana has an extensive public bus system. Several bus lines stop near the city center. Look for the bus stops closest to Skanderbeg Square or the National Museum, then walk south along Murat Toptani Street to reach the Castle entrance. A single bus fare is 40 lek. You can pay in cash to the driver or conductor.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available in Tirana. A short taxi ride from anywhere in the city center to Tirana Castle should cost approximately 500-1800 Lek, depending on the distance and traffic. Ensure the meter is running or negotiate the fare beforehand.
