Car
If you're driving from Shkodra, take the SH1 road south towards Koplik. Continue on the SH1 until you reach the intersection with the SH21 road. Turn left onto SH21 and follow the signs towards Malesi e Madhe. After approximately 30 km, you will reach the village of Medjurecje. Park your car at the designated parking area near the entrance of Mrtvica Canyon. The entrance is well-marked, and from there, you can start your hike into the canyon.

Public Transportation
To reach Mrtvica Canyon using public transportation, start from Shkodra. Take a bus from Shkodra to Koplik, which operates frequently. From Koplik, you can catch a shared taxi or minibus towards the village of Medjurecje. Make sure to tell the driver your destination to ensure they drop you off at the nearest point to the canyon entrance. The total cost for the bus and taxi will be around €3-€5. Once in Medjurecje, you may need to walk a short distance to the entrance of Mrtvica Canyon.

After parking your car in Medjurecje or being dropped off by public transport, follow the signs leading to Mrtvica Canyon. The trail is well-maintained and easy to follow. Expect a light hike of about 1-2 hours to fully explore the canyon area. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water for the journey.
