Car
If driving, start from the town of Junik. Head northeast on Rruga e Junikut towards Rruga Pashtriku. Continue straight for approximately 7 km until you reach the parking area near the starting point of the hiking trail to Maja e Urishtes. Ensure you have a reliable map or GPS device, as some roads may not be well-marked.
Public Transport
To reach Maja e Urishtes using public transportation, take a bus from Shkodra to Koplik. Buses run frequently and cost around 100 ALL. From Koplik, take a local minibus or taxi to Breg-Lumi, approximately 10 kilometers away. The minibus costs about 200 ALL, or a taxi around 800 ALL. From Breg-Lumi, follow signs to the Maja e Urishtes trailhead.
Hiking
From the parking area, the trail to Maja e Urishtes is well-marked but carrying a map or GPS app is advisable. The hike is moderately challenging, with some steep sections, and takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours to reach the peak. Wear appropriate hiking gear and carry enough water and snacks.
