Walking
From the Elbasan city center, the castle is easily accessible on foot. ориентироваться на Rruga Leke Dukagjinit, which leads directly towards the castle entrance. The walk is approximately 10-15 minutes, offering a chance to see local shops and cafes. No costs involved.
Public Transport
If arriving by bus at the Regional and International Bus Terminal, the castle is about a 15-minute walk. Exit the station and head towards the city center, following Rruga Nikolla Puka. Turn left onto Rruga e Dajlanit, then continue straight. The castle will be visible on the right. Local buses also operate within Elbasan; a single fare costs around 30-50 ALL. Taxis are available near the bus station for approximately 300-500 ALL.
Car
If driving, follow the SH3 highway towards Elbasan. Once in the city, signs will direct you to the city center and the castle. Parking is available around the castle area. Parking fees may apply. A nearby parking lot is Materniteti, located a short walk from the castle. Expect to pay around 100 ALL per hour for parking.
