Walking
Start at the center of Pogradec, specifically at the main square (Sheshi i Pogradecit). From the square, head east toward the lake, passing the local shops and cafes. Once you reach the waterfront promenade, turn left and follow the path along the lake's edge. Continue walking for approximately 1.5 km until you reach the border with North Macedonia. You will see signs directing you towards the St. Cyril & St. Methodius Monument, which is located just across the border in Ohrid. Since you cannot cross the border on foot, you will need to take local transportation to Ohrid.

Public Transport
From the main square in Pogradec, locate the bus stop near the lake. Take a bus that is heading to Ohrid, North Macedonia. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Ohrid, disembark at the main bus station. From the bus station, you can either walk or take a taxi to the St. Cyril & St. Methodius Monument. If walking, head towards the lake and follow the signs to the monument, which is approximately a 20-minute walk from the bus station.
