Getting There

Walking
Start from the central square of Pogradec, known as Sheshi i Pogradecit. From the square, head east towards the lake. You will see the main promenade along the lake's edge. Follow this promenade south along the lakeside. As you walk, you will pass several cafes and restaurants. Continue walking until you reach the end of the promenade, which is about a 20-minute walk from the central square. Beach Saraiste is located just beyond the promenade, near the entrance to the beach area.

From the central square of Pogradec, find the bus station located near the lakeside. Look for a bus heading towards Ohrid, North Macedonia (as Beach Saraiste is near Ohrid). Purchase a ticket from the ticket booth or the driver. The bus should take you across the border to Ohrid, which is approximately a 30-minute ride. Disembark at the stop closest to the city center of Ohrid. From there, you can either walk or take a local taxi to Beach Saraiste, which is about a 15-minute walk northwest along the lakeshore.
