Getting There

  • Walking

    From Trpejca, a village on the shore of Lake Ohrid, the park entrance is a short walk. Follow the main road out of the village, heading uphill. The walk to the park boundary offers immediate views of the lake. There are no entrance fees. Be prepared for a steep incline as you ascend into the park. Limited parking is available near the entrance.

  • Public Transport

    From Ohrid, take a bus towards St. Naum Monastery. Ask the driver to stop at the entrance to Galicica National Park, near the village of Trpejca. From the bus stop, it's a short walk to the park boundary. Bus fares from Ohrid to Trpejca area cost approximately 100 MKD. Check local bus schedules for accurate timings, as services may be infrequent.

  • Taxi/Ride-share

    Taxis and ride-sharing services are available in Ohrid. A taxi ride from Ohrid to the Galicica National Park entrance near Trpejca will cost approximately 800-1200 MKD.
