To reach Petrela Castle via public transportation from Tirana, take a bus from the Southeast Bus Station towards Elbasan and ask to be dropped off in Petrelë. Buses that pass through Petrela can drop you off in the town. The bus fare is approximately 100 ALL. From Petrelë, it's about a 1 km walk uphill to the castle. Follow the signs directing you to Rruga Petreles.
