Public Transport
To reach Petrela Castle via public transportation from Tirana, take a bus from the Southeast Bus Station towards Elbasan and ask to be dropped off in Petrelë. Buses that pass through Petrela can drop you off in the town. The bus fare is approximately 100 ALL. From Petrelë, it's about a 1 km walk uphill to the castle. Follow the signs directing you to Rruga Petreles.
Taxi
For a more direct route, take a taxi from Tirana to Petrela Castle. The drive takes approximately 30 minutes. Negotiate the price beforehand or ensure the meter is running. The taxi fare may vary, but expect to pay around 3000 to 4000 ALL.
Car
If traveling by car from Tirana, head towards the Tirana-Elbasan highway. Continue on this road until you reach the town of Petrelë. Once in Petrelë, look for Rruga Petreles, where you will find the entrance to Petrela Castle. The drive takes approximately 35 minutes from the center. Parking is available near the castle.
