Walking
Skënduli House is located in the old town of Gjirokastër. From the main square (Qafa e Pazarit), walk towards the old bazaar area. Follow the signs leading to Rruga Palorto. The walk is uphill and takes about 15-20 minutes. Enjoy the views of the historic architecture along the way. There are no costs associated with walking.
Public Transport
Gjirokastër has a public bus circuit that connects the new town and the old town. Take the bus to the old town and get off at the stop closest to the Ethnographic Museum. From there, walk a short distance to Skënduli House. A single bus fare costs approximately 30 LEK. Private buses are prohibited from climbing the steep and narrow streets.
Taxi
Taxis are available in Gjirokastër. A taxi from the city center to Skënduli House should cost around 200-300 LEK. Be sure to agree on the fare before starting your journey.
