Walking
From the center of Tepelene, head northeast on Rruga 28 Nëntori towards Rruga Dibran. Continue for approximately 1.5 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Tepelene Castle. The walk takes about 20-25 minutes. There are no costs associated with walking to the castle.

Take a local bus from the Tepelene bus station. Confirm with the driver that the bus stops near Tepelene Castle. The bus ride costs approximately 100-200 Albanian Lek (around $1). Buses from Tirana to Tepelene are available, with a journey time of approximately 3.5 hours. The bus will drop you off in the center of Tepelene. A bus ticket will cost around $14.
Car
From Tirana, take the SH4 highway south towards Tepelene. The journey is approximately 2.5 to 3 hours. Once in Tepelene, follow the signs to the castle, which is located on the north side of the city. Parking is available near the castle entrance. Parking costs around 100 Lek per hour.
