Getting There

    Skënduli House is located in the Palorto neighborhood of Gjirokastër's old town. From Sheshi Çerçiz Topulli (the main square in the old town), walk north along Rruga Gjin Bue Shpata, then turn right onto Rruga Palorto. The house will be on your right. The walk is uphill and takes about 5-10 minutes. Note that the streets are cobbled.

    If arriving in Gjirokastër's new town, take the public bus from Bulevardi 18 Shtatori to Sheshi Çerçiz Topulli in the old town for 30 lek. From there, follow the walking directions. The bus connects the new and old town.

  • Taxi

    Taxis are available in Gjirokastër and can take you directly to Skënduli House in the old town. A taxi from the new town to the old town will cost approximately 300-500 lek. Be sure to agree on the fare before starting your journey.
