Originally constructed during Albania's communist regime, the five-story, 106-room bunker was designed as a shelter in case of war. Today, BUNK'ART 1 offers visitors a deep dive into Albania's Cold War past, political repression, and military history.

Public Transport
From Skanderbeg Square in Tirana's city center, take the blue bus line 11 towards Linzë or Porcelan. The bus station is located behind the Palace of Culture. A one-way ticket costs 40 Lekë. Ask the driver to stop near BUNK'ART 1 or the Dajti Ekspres cable car. From the bus stop, follow the signs to BUNK'ART 1, a short walk through a tunnel.
