As part of the Skanderbeg Mountains, it stretches for 8 km, offering diverse landscapes and ecosystems. Often called the 'Balcony of Tirana,' Dajti provides panoramic views of the city, surrounding villages, and even the Adriatic Sea on clear days. The mountain's geology is characterized by Cretaceous and Paleogene limestone, with karst formations. The lower slopes feature Mediterranean shrubs, transitioning to oak forests and then beech and conifer trees at higher elevations. The summit, reaching 1,613 m (5,292 ft) at Maja e Dajtit, is rocky and offers dramatic views.Dajti Mountain National Park, established in 1966, encompasses 293.84 km2, offering a haven for various flora and fauna.
