Getting there

Walking

The Cloud is located near Skanderbeg Square in central Tirana, making it easily accessible on foot from most central locations. From Skanderbeg Square, walk towards the National Arts Gallery; The Cloud is situated directly in front of it. There are no costs involved when walking.

Public Transport

Tirana's bus network provides access to the city center. Look for buses that go to Qender (Center) or Skanderbeg Square. From the bus stop, it's a short walk to The Cloud. A single bus fare is 40 Lek. Buses typically operate from 6:00 to 23:00.

Taxi

Taxis are readily available in Tirana. A short taxi ride from anywhere in the city center to The Cloud should cost between 300-500 Lek, depending on distance and traffic. Taxi fares generally start at 300 Lek for the first 1.5 km, with additional charges per kilometer and per minute. Be sure the driver is using the meter, or negotiate a fixed fare before starting your trip.

Located in front of the National Gallery of Arts in Tirana, The Cloud (Reja) is a captivating architectural installation by Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto. Initially commissioned for the Serpentine Gallery in London in 2013, it was relocated to Tirana in 2016, quickly becoming a symbol of the city's evolving identity.Constructed from a delicate network of white steel bars, the structure resembles a giant, ethereal cloud. Visitors are encouraged to interact with the artwork, climbing on it or finding a seat underneath, which offers a unique perspective of the city. The semi-transparent canopy provides shelter while maintaining a connection to the surrounding landscape.Spanning 350 square meters, The Cloud serves as a modern art space, hosting various cultural events and exhibitions. During the warmer months, it transforms into a stage for musicians and theatrical performances. The Cloud provides panoramic views of Tirana, showcasing the blend of historical and modern architecture.
