Be aware that the parking area can get crowded during summer.

Infrequent buses travel from Himare towards Borsh and Saranda, stopping near Porto Palermo. These buses typically depart from outside Big Market in Himare at 11:30 and 14:00. The bus fare is approximately 100 Lek. Check locally for the most up-to-date schedules, as information may not be readily available online. The last bus back to Himare leaves at 14:00, so plan accordingly. From the bus stop, it's a short walk to the castle.
