The museum offers a chronological journey through Algerian history, divided into five sections representing prehistoric, ancient, Muslim, modern, and contemporary periods. The museum showcases a variety of exhibits, including clothing, weapons, and unique art pieces that once belonged to Algerian fighters. Iconic exhibits include the Barberousse prison guillotine and Hussein Dey's fan, linked to Algeria's colonial history. Architectural models showcase revolutionary meeting sites, while artistic displays feature works by Algerian painters and busts by sculptor Bâaziz Hammache.
