From the city of Medroussa, take Route N5 heading northeast. Continue for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach the turnoff for Route N11. Turn left onto Route N11 and drive for another 10 kilometers until you see the signs for Lejdar. The archaeological site is located off the main road, so follow the signs to the entrance. The Jeddars, numbering thirteen in total, are divided into two groups situated on two hills: three on Jabal Lakhdar and ten on Jabal Arawi. These structures provide insight into the Berber kingdoms that ruled the area during a period of great unrest in North Africa, following the collapse of the Roman Empire and the arrival of various invading forces.Constructed from stone, the Jeddars feature square bases topped with angular mounds, with some reaching heights of up to 18 meters.
