Walking
From Place de Martyrs, walk east towards the Ketchaoua Mosque. Continue along Rue de la Marine, then turn right onto Rue Bab Azoun. Follow the road uphill into the Casbah. The Algerian Maze is located near the 'The new door'.
Public Transport
Take the Algiers Metro Line 1 to Tafourah - Grande Poste station. From there, walk north towards Place de Martyrs, then follow the walking directions into the Casbah. A single metro fare is approximately 50 DZD.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available throughout Algiers. Tell the driver to take you to 'The new door' in the Casbah. Be sure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey. A short taxi ride from the city center to the Casbah typically costs between 290 and 500 DZD.
