Walking
From the center of Béjaïa, walk towards the Mediterranean waterfront. Follow Rue de la Soummam until you reach the beach, then continue along the promenade to the intersection with Rue des Martyrs. Turn left onto Rue des Martyrs, which becomes Rue de l'Indépendance, leading towards the Kabylie Mountains foothills and Pic des Singes. The hike to the peak from the trailhead takes approximately 1-2 hours, with well-trodden but steep paths.
Public Transport
Take a local bus from the Gare Routière de Béjaïa (central bus station) towards Akbou. Inform the driver you wish to get off at the closest point to Pic des Singes. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. From the drop-off point, walk towards the trailhead and follow the marked hiking paths to Pic des Singes. Bus fare is approximately 15 DZD.
Taxi
A taxi from Béjaïa city center to the trailhead of Pic des Singes is a convenient option. The ride typically takes around 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Expect to pay around 425 DZD for a 5km ride. Taxis can be found on the street or through ride-hailing apps.
