    The Amour Range (Djebel Amour) is a mountain range situated in Algeria, an integral component of the Saharan Atlas. Nestled in the central area of the Saharan Atlas, it lies between the Ksour Range to the west and the Ouled-Naïl Range to the east.The mountains boast altitudes typically ranging from 1,400 to 2,000 meters. The highest point in the range is Djebel Ksel, reaching an elevation of 2,008 meters. Other notable peaks include Guern Arif (1,721 m), Mount Sidi Okba (1,707 m), Mount Gourou (1,706 m), Oum El Guedour (1,686 m), and Kef Sidi Bouzid (1,503 m).The town of Aflou, one of Algeria's highest municipalities, is located within the Amour Range at 1,426 m. Approximately 35,000 people inhabit the area. 35 km southeast of Aflou lies Taouïala, home to an ecotouristic village. The Amour Range presents a unique blend of natural beauty and cultural experiences, inviting travelers to explore its landscapes and discover the traditions of its inhabitants.
