    If you are staying in Taputimu, the sanctuary is accessible by foot via Fagatele Bay Trail. Follow the path towards the coast. Be prepared for some elevation changes. The scenic trail leads directly to the marine sanctuary area. Remember to wear sturdy shoes and bring water.

    From anywhere on Tutuila Island, take a local bus towards Taputimu. Ask the driver to drop you off at Fagatele Bay Trail. From the drop-off point, follow the road towards the coast. You may need to walk a short distance to reach the entrance of Fagatele Marine Sanctuary. Bus fare is typically around $1 - $3 depending on the distance.

    From Pago Pago, follow the main road towards the western side of Tutuila Island. Look for signs indicating the direction to Taputimu. Once in Taputimu, follow Fagatele Bay Trail. Upon reaching the area, park in the designated parking area on Mr. Asuemu Fuimaono's land. From the parking area, it's a 2 km walk to the first educational sign and another 1.5 km to the bay. Parking is free, but vehicle access beyond the gate is restricted.
