The Museo Carmen Thyssen Andorra, which opened in March 2017, is located on the ground floor of the historic Hostal Valira in Escaldes-Engordany. This museum is the first international museum created from the private collection of Carmen Thyssen, after the Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza in Madrid and the Museo Carmen Thyssen Málaga in Andalusia. The museum's collection primarily features 19th- and 20th-century paintings, including Impressionist, Post-Impressionist, and Expressionist works.
