Getting There

  • Car

    From Canillo, head north on the CG-2 road. After about 5 km, look for signs for Mirador Roc del Quer. Turn onto the Ctra. de Montaup (CS-240) and follow the signs to the parking area near the viewpoint. Parking is free. From the parking lot, it's a 10-minute walk to the platform.

  • Public Transport

    Take the L3 or L4 bus from Andorra la Vella towards Canillo. Get off at the Canillo bus stop. From there, you can take a shuttle bus to the Roc del Quer viewpoint. Alternatively, taxis are available from Canillo to the Mirador. The taxi fare may range from €5 to €10.

The Mirador Roc del Quer, also known as the Mirador de Canillo, is a must-see attraction in Andorra, offering an unmatched opportunity to experience the breathtaking Pyrenees from a unique vantage point. Situated near Canillo, this modern observation deck has quickly become famous for its panoramic views and avant-garde architecture. The highlight is a 20-meter walkway, with 12 meters suspended over the void, giving the sensation of floating in the air. Designed in 2016, the cantilevered platform provides unobstructed views of the Andorran landscape. Part of the platform features a transparent glass floor, enhancing the feeling of elevation. At the end of the walkway, you'll find a sculpture by Miguel Ángel González, an Argentine sculptor. The sculpture, called “The Ponderer,” depicts a man sitting on a beam, calmly observing the valley, inviting visitors to contemplate the beauty of nature. Before reaching the platform, visitors encounter the "Self-generating Structures," a sculptural ensemble created in 1991 by Mexican artist Jorge Dubon. These totem poles symbolize humanity's connection to the mountains. From the parking area, it's a short, 10-minute walk to the viewpoint. The valleys of Montaup and Valira d'Orient unfold below, displaying vibrant greenery in summer and glistening white in winter.
