Walking
From the center of Canillo, the most direct way to reach Tamarro Nilo is by car or taxi, as it's located a short distance outside the town on the road towards the Coll d'Ordino, near the Mirador del Roc del Quer. If you prefer to walk, it's a moderately challenging uphill hike. Follow the main road out of Canillo towards the north. The walk to the Roc del Quer viewpoint takes approximately 1 hour, from where you can easily reach Tamarro Nilo. There are no specific costs involved in reaching Tamarro Nilo, as it's a free attraction.
Public Transport
To reach Tamarro Nilo using public transport, take the L3 or L4 bus from Andorra la Vella towards Canillo. Get off at the Canillo bus stop. From there, you can either take a taxi to Tamarro Nilo or walk. The bus fare from Andorra la Vella to Canillo is approximately €2-3. A taxi from Canillo to Tamarro Nilo will cost around €7. Keep in mind that there might be a short walk involved from where the taxi drops you off to the exact location of the Tamarro.

From Canillo, a taxi ride to Tamarro Nilo is a quick and convenient option. Taxis are readily available in the town center. The ride to Tamarro Nilo takes about 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic. The approximate cost is €7. Confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey. Tipping is customary, around 10-13% of the total fare.
