If you are driving from Huambo, take the EN-105 road towards Cacula. This route will take you approximately 2 hours. Once you reach Cacula, follow signs to Parque Nacional do Quicama. Continue on the dirt road for about 30 minutes until you reach the park entrance located at coordinates 7H2M+28W. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for unpaved roads.
Public Transportation
To reach Parque Nacional do Quicama using public transportation, start in Huambo and take a bus to Cacula. The bus ride will take about 2 to 3 hours, costing around 1,000 Kwanza (AOA). Upon arrival in Cacula, you may need to hire a local taxi or arrange a motorcycle taxi to transport you to the park entrance. Expect to pay approximately 2,500 to 5,000 Kwanza (AOA) for the taxi ride, depending on negotiation.
