    Boat

    The primary way to reach Mussulo Island is by boat from Luanda. Head to the Marina de Luanda, about 6 km from the city center, accessible by taxi or moto-taxi. Purchase a boat ticket to Mussulo; boats typically depart hourly or when full. The boat ride takes approximately 30 minutes, offering scenic coastal views. A round-trip boat ticket typically costs around 1,000-2,000 Kz (approximately $2-4 USD).

    Public Transport & Boat

    For a more budget-friendly option, take a minibus ('candongueiro') from various points in Luanda to 'Praia de Luanda'. These are crowded but economical. From Praia de Luanda, walk to Marina de Luanda and take a boat to Mussulo. The minibus fare is minimal (around 100-200 Kz), and the boat fare is the same as mentioned above.

    Car & Car Ferry

    It is possible to drive to Mussulo via the EN100 road, followed by a car ferry. However, be aware that the road can be difficult to access, requiring a vehicle with good traction. Take the ferry from Mussulo to Kapossoca. The car ferry is a short ride. The car ferry costs $2 - $6.
