From Luanda, take the EN100 road south towards Belas. The Miradouro da Lua is approximately 40 km (25 miles) from Luanda. Follow the EN100, and look for signs indicating the Miradouro da Lua. The site is located just off the main road. Parking is available near the viewpoint. Ensure your vehicle has sufficient fuel, as gas stations can be sparse.

From Luanda, take a bus or taxi towards Belas. Buses and 'candongueiros' (local minibuses) are available from Luanda to Belas. From Belas, hire a local taxi to the Miradouro da Lua. Confirm the fare before departing. Bus fare from Luanda to Belas is approximately 100-200 Kwanza. Taxi fare from Belas to the viewpoint may range from 500-1000 Kwanza.
