Located in the Lunda Sul Province of Angola, the Dala Waterfalls, or Chiumbe River Falls, offer a breathtaking display of nature's power and beauty. The falls are approximately 60 meters high, creating a mesmerizing scene as the water plunges onto the rocks below, generating a refreshing mist.
The falls are easily accessible via a bridge constructed near the base, providing a comfortable and advantageous viewpoint. For those seeking a more immersive experience, a hotel is conveniently located just 50 meters from the falls. The Dala Waterfalls are not to be confused with the smaller Cassengo Falls, which are located in the same area. The surrounding area offers lush trails where you can witness the harmonious coexistence of flora and fauna.
The Chiumbe River Falls represented the province of Lunda Sul in the contest of the 7 Natural Wonders of Angola in 2013.

Driving
From the town of Dala, the waterfalls are easily accessible by car. The falls are located next to the bridge that connects the road from Lunda Sul Province to Moxico. Be aware that the roads to the falls may be damaged. There is no fee to access the falls.
