Public Transport
To reach Tundavala Gap via public transportation, start by taking a minibus from Huíla to Tundavala, which runs frequently and costs very little. Ask locals for the right bus. Alternatively, take a bus from Malanje to Lubango. Buses frequently depart from the main bus terminal in Malanje. The journey will take approximately 2 to 3 hours, and tickets typically cost around 1,500 to 2,000 Kwanza (AOA). Once you arrive in Lubango, you can take a local taxi or a shared minibus (known as 'candongue') towards Tundavala Gap. The taxi ride will cost about 1,000 to 1,500 Kwanza (AOA) and will take around 30 minutes. Make sure to confirm with the taxi driver that they are going to Tundavala Gap before getting in.
