In the early 1960s, Rendezvous Bay became the birthplace of tourism in Anguilla with the construction of the Rendezvous Bay Hotel. Today, Rendezvous Bay is home to a few hotels and beach bars, including the iconic Bankie Banx's Dune Preserve. The Dune Preserve is known as one of the world's best beach bars. The calm waters make it ideal for swimming, paddleboarding, and simply floating. The beach is perfect for long walks, with soft sand and gentle waves.
