From Nelson's Dockyard, follow Dockyard Drive southeast. Continue onto Clarence House Avenue, then turn left onto English Harbour Road. Follow the road until you see signs for Galleon Beach. The beach is a short walk from the main road. Walking from Nelson's Dockyard takes approximately 10-15 minutes.
Public Transport
From St. John's, take the Line 17 bus from West Bus Station to English Harbour. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and costs $2 EC. From the English Harbour bus stop, walk towards Galleon Beach; it's about a 20-minute walk with signs directing you to the entrance.
Taxi
From St. John's, a taxi to Galleon Beach costs approximately $25-$30 USD and takes about 25 minutes. Negotiate the fare before starting the journey. From English Harbour, a short taxi ride to Galleon Beach will cost around $10-$15 USD.
Driving
