Getting There

  • Public Transport

    From the central bus station in St. John's, take the bus heading towards Parham. Ask the driver to let you off near Mount Obama, as it's not a direct stop. From the drop-off point, walk approximately 1 kilometer towards the entrance of the Mount Obama trail. Bus fare is approximately EC$2.

  • Taxi

    Find a local taxi in St. John's and request a ride to Mount Obama. The journey takes about 15 minutes along Sir George Walter Highway. Arrange a pickup time with the driver, as taxis may not be readily available in the area. A one-way taxi ride will cost approximately EC$40-50.

  • Driving

    From St. John's, drive south along Valley Road until you reach the village of Jennings. Continue through Jennings and turn left at the first bus stop onto a dirt track. Follow the dirt track for about a mile to a grassy parking area near metal gates. Park here and walk the remaining 300 meters to the start of the Mount Obama Trail. A 4x4 vehicle is recommended.
