If you're driving, start from the city center of St. John's. Head northeast on Long Street towards the junction with Market Street. Continue straight onto the Sir George Walter Highway (A1). Follow the highway for about 3 kilometers, then take the exit onto the road leading to Fort James. The lighthouse will be on your left as you approach the coast, with a parking area available nearby. Note that parking may incur a small fee.
