From Valley Church Beach, start by heading northeast on Valley Church Road towards the main road. Turn left onto Jolly Harbour Road (also known as Route 1). Continue driving for approximately 5.5 kilometers (about 3.4 miles) until you reach a roundabout. Take the first exit onto the English Harbour Road (Route 2). After about 3 kilometers (1.9 miles), you will see a sign for Carpenter Rock Trail. Turn left onto the Unnamed Road where the trailhead is located, and you should find parking available nearby.
