Discover more about Park of Study and Reflection Punta de Vacas

The Park of Study and Reflection Punta de Vacas is a unique spiritual center located in the Las Heras Department of Mendoza, Argentina. Situated on National Route 7, near the village of Punta de Vacas, this park is part of a network of Parks of Study and Reflection around the world inspired by the humanist ideas of the spiritual guide Silo (Mario Rodriguez Cobos). The park's origins trace back to May 4, 1969, when Silo delivered his first public address, known as "The Healing of Suffering," in Punta de Vacas. To commemorate this event, a steel monolith was erected in 1999, marking the beginning of the park's development. Over time, symbolic elements and buildings were added to facilitate seminars, meetings, personal study, and meditation. Visitors to the park can explore serene paths that wind through landscaped gardens, providing spaces for quiet contemplation and relaxation. The park's design encourages mindfulness practices, allowing individuals to disconnect from the chaos of everyday life and reconnect with nature and their inner selves. Key features include the Portal, Monolith, Stele, and Halls designed to promote inner reflection and a sense of peace. The park is open to all who seek a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them, regardless of their beliefs. The park is located approximately 180 km west of the city of Mendoza, along National Route 7, which also leads to the Aconcagua Provincial Park. This makes it an accessible destination for those exploring the natural beauty of the region.
