If you are starting from the center of Aconcagua Valley, head south on Route 7 (Ruta Nacional 7) towards Las Heras. Continue on this route for approximately 100 kilometers. Once you reach Las Heras, you will need to take a left on Route 145 (Ruta Provincial 145). Drive for about 20 kilometers until you see signs for Laguna de Horcones. Follow the signs for another 10 kilometers to reach the parking area near the lagoon. Note that parking may have a fee, so keep some Argentine Pesos (ARS) on hand.

From Aconcagua Valley, take a bus to Mendoza city. Buses regularly depart from major towns in the valley. Once in Mendoza, transfer to a bus heading to Las Heras (this will take about 1 to 1.5 hours). Upon arrival in Las Heras, you can either take a taxi or a local bus that goes towards Laguna de Horcones. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they will drop you off at the lagoon.
