Car
If you are traveling by car within Aconcagua Provincial Park, start at the park entrance located on Route 7. Continue driving south on Route 7, which is the main highway through the park. Pay attention to signs indicating the direction to Salto del Soldado. After approximately 15 kilometers, you will reach a junction. Take the exit towards Ruta 60. Continue for another 10 kilometers until you see signs for Salto del Soldado. There is limited parking available near the viewpoint.

To reach Salto del Soldado via public transportation, first take a bus from Mendoza to Los Andes. Buses depart regularly from the Terminal de Omnibus in Mendoza. Once you arrive in Los Andes, you will need to take a local taxi or a shared van to Aconcagua Provincial Park entrance. From there, you can either hike or arrange for a local guide to take you to Salto del Soldado, which is approximately a 5-kilometer hike from the park entrance. Ensure you check the bus schedules in advance, as they may vary.
