Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey from the center of Llaillay. Head south on Avenida Santa Rosa towards Route 5. Merge onto Route 5 and continue driving for approximately 10 kilometers. Look for the exit towards Llaillay (Exit 215). Once you exit, follow signs for Cerro Colorado Chico. The road will take you through some scenic landscapes. After about 5 kilometers, you will reach the base of the mountain. Keep in mind that parking may be limited, so arrive early to secure a spot.
Public Transportation
To use public transportation, start at the main bus terminal in Llaillay. Look for buses heading towards La Ligua or the ones that make stops in nearby towns. You will need to get off at the stop 'Cerro Colorado.' From there, you can take a local taxi or a shared ride service to the base of Cerro Colorado Chico. Hiking
