Public Transport
From downtown Bariloche, take Bus #20 from the bus terminal on Av. San Martín. The bus makes multiple stops along the way. The journey to Puerto Pañuelo takes approximately one hour, but allow extra time during peak season due to traffic. A SUBE card is needed to pay the bus fare, which costs approximately $3,930 ARS. The bus will drop you off a short walk from the marina.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available throughout Bariloche. A taxi ride from the city center to Puerto Pañuelo typically takes 34 minutes, depending on traffic. Expect to pay between $45,000 and $55,000 ARS for the trip.
Parking
If driving, Puerto Pañuelo offers uncovered parking. Parking fees are as follows: Cars: $3,000 ARS per hour or fraction, $15,000 ARS for up to 8 hours, $27,000 ARS for 24 hours. Minibuses/Buses: $4,000 ARS per hour or fraction, $25,000 ARS for up to 8 hours, $36,000 ARS for 24 hours. Overnight parking is permitted.
Boat Tour
Upon arrival at Puerto Pañuelo, purchase tickets for your desired boat tour to Isla Victoria and/or the Arrayanes Forest. Two companies operate from the port: Turisur and Espacio S.A. (Catamaran Cau Cau). In addition to the boat tour ticket, you'll need to pay an embarkation fee and an admission fee to Nahuel Huapi National Park. As of December 2025, boat tour tickets cost $120,000 ARS for general admission (13+ years old) and $60,000 ARS for minors (6-12 years old) and Argentinian pensioners. Access to the National Park costs $20,000 ARS for general admission, $7,000 ARS for Argentinian residents, and $5,000 ARS for residents of Río Negro and Neuquén. The boarding fee is $4,300 ARS for people over 2 years old.
