Getting There

• Walking

  Plaza Teniente General Emilio Mitre is located in the Recoleta neighborhood, easily accessible on foot from many nearby attractions. From the Cementerio de la Recoleta, walk south along Junín street, then turn left onto José Andrés Pacheco de Melo. The plaza will be on your right. The walk is approximately 10 minutes.   To reach the plaza via public transport, you can take the Subte (subway) Line H to the Las Heras station. From the station, walk along Avenida Las Heras, then turn onto either Junin or Presidente Jose Evaristo Uriburu which will intersect with José Andrés Pacheco de Melo. The plaza will be a short walk away. A single journey on the Subte costs approximately AR$757 for registered SUBE users. You can also take a bus (colectivo) to a nearby stop; bus lines 10, 37, 59, 60, 93, 95, 102, 108, 110, 118 stop within a few blocks of the plaza. Bus fares start at AR$270.
