The Vicente López Ecological Preserve, located in the La Lucila neighborhood of Buenos Aires Province, offers a tranquil escape from the urban environment. Established in 1983 by naturalist Ricardo Barbetti, the preserve showcases a rich variety of native plant and animal life. The artificial lagoon, approximately 2 meters deep, becomes covered with aquatic vegetation in the warmer months, creating a beautiful green carpet on the water's surface.
